Stinnett Family Farms, as the name implies, is a family owned and operated farm in South Arkansas. My name is Travis and I am the “POP” of this mom and pop organization. The “MOM” is my wife crystal. We have three beautiful children: two daughters Jordan and Katie and one son Levi.

Our main goal here at Stinnett Farms is to live as self-sufficient a life as possible. Follow on our journey as we start and maintain our “Homestead.” This site is devoted to the documentation of our “good” times (as well as the bad) and help you learn how to homestead just like us.

The information you find on our site is 100% FREE!!! The only thing we ask for in return is that you communicate with us and hopefully become friends and fellow homesteaders. Let us know how your homestead is coming along. We are not here to try to sale you something. Now, don’t get me wrong we do have things for sale on our site, but it is only to pay the bills here on the homestead. We sale the products we create on our homestead and we have a few ads that we make a small commission from as an affiliate. But I promise you I will not have an ad that I haven’t tried and am using myself.

We want to welcome you aboard and invite you once again to talk to us. Let us know what you think about our site, about our information we share, but more importantly we want to hear what you need help with. IF you have a topic you would like us to cover let us know and we will work on getting it together for you. Helping other homesteaders is the name of the game.

My wife and I started researching homesteading about 5 years ago. Over the past few years we have been sort of testing out different aspects or our homestead like different poultry and livestock breeds, gardening, etc. We wanted to know as much as we possibly could before going into this project. We want to save you the time so you can start your homestead NOW!!
